Welcome to Puy Rond Camping. We are English owned family run site in the Deux-Sèvres department of the Poitou – Charentes , France, close to the Vendee border. Our campsite is the dream & reality of myself Robert & my wife Amanda to offer what we feel most people look for in a campsite – beautiful surroundings, friendly people & a warm family atmosphere. With only 25 pitches we offer a more personal approach than the “factory camping” of larger campsites. We are only a short walk from the town of Bressuire that has numerous shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. We are only a short drive from many places of interest such as Le Puy du Fou, Le Marais Poitevin ( green venice) and the Japanese gardens of Maulevrier. Around an hour from the campsite you have the Loire valley towns of Saumur & Chinon, the vineyards of Anjou & Muscadet and the Vendee coastal towns of La Rochelle & Les Sables d’olonne.
Every day in high season you can place an order for freshly baked baguettes and croissants and I deliver them direct to your door the following morning. For further provisions there are supermarkets within a five minute drive and the town is a twenty minute walk around a beautiful lake. Our family run site is conveniently situated as a base from which to either explore this beautiful region of France or spend the day relaxing in a peaceful secluded haven.
Together with toilets and hot showers etc, we have a washing machine and a freezer to put your ice blocks in. All pitches have electric hook up if required.
