Welcome to Puy Rond Camping. We are a small family run site in rural france which is the dream and reality of myself Robert and my wife Amanda to offer what we feel most people are looking for in a campsite - beautiful surroundings, friendly people and a warm family atmosphere. The campsite is ideal for children to explore and for parents to be sure they are safe. We offer a more personal approach than the "factory camping" of larger sites. Every morning in high season you can place an order for freshly baked baquettes and croissants and I deliver them direct to your door the following morning. For further provisions there are supermarkets within a five minute drive and the town is a twenty minute walk around a beautiful lake. Our family run site is conveniently situated as a base from which to either explore this beautiful region of France or spend the day relaxing in a peaceful secluded haven.

New for the 2009 season is a two bedroom gite for rent. This spacious bungalow sleeps up to 6 people and is fully furnished. Satelitte tv is installed and you get the full use of the campsite facilities including the pool. Prices are as follows :- 1st October to end of April - 58 € per night or 335 € per week. June and September - 70 € per night or 435 € per week. July and August - 90 € per night or 595 € per week. For more photos please contact us.

The vibrant town of Bressuire hosts a beautiful medeival Chateau and church dating back to the 11th century with the town having just celebrated its 1000th anniversary. The town has a traditional market every Tuesday morning and an indoor fresh produce market every Saturday & Tuesday morning. There are many bars, cafes and shops to explore and enjoy.

Just the thing after a busy day sightseeing or sunbathing. Relax and soak up the sun around our pool. Even in high season, being a small site it is never crowded or noisy.

As an alternative to camping we have three chalets. These are available to rent any time of year and are fully insolated for use through the winter. Each chalet has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. There is also a sofa bed in the living area to convert to another double giving a total occupancy of six. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven, hob, sink and all necessary crockery and cutlery. The essential corkscrew is of course supplied !. There is a shower room with a wash hand basin and a seperate toilet. Outside you have a covered & decked verandah with table and chairs. Please contact us for more pictures.
